Journal of Applied Sciences and Nanotechnology (JASN) is an interdisciplinary, open-access journal established in 2021 by the College of Applied Sciences at the University of Technology–Iraq. It publishes high-quality original research articles and review articles in applied sciences, with particular emphasis on nanotechnology and its technological applications. JASN publishes in English, follows a quarterly publication schedule, and operates under an open-access model that allows readers worldwide to access its content freely.
The journal uses a double-blind (double-anonymous) peer review process to ensure rigorous and unbiased evaluation of submissions. JASN is indexed in DOAJ, ROAD, and Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ). Article metadata and DOIs are registered via CrossRef, and published content is discoverable through Google Scholar, enhancing the visibility and discoverability of published articles. The journal currently has an acceptance rate of about 19%, and the average time from submission to the first editorial decision is approximately 20 days, although individual manuscripts may vary.
